Affiliate disclosure

The short version. Some of the links on TripPacker are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. It is how the site stays free.

Where they are. Every “Shop” button on a packing list is an affiliate link. So are some of the links inside the Before you go box, for things like travel insurance and eSIMs. Links to our own pages, and links out to government or health sources, are never affiliate links.

What it changes. Which products appear on a list is decided by the conditions at your destination, not by what pays best. A product with no affiliate programme at all can and does appear. What a commission does change is that we can afford to keep building this, and we would rather tell you that plainly than bury it.

Amazon. TripPacker is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Other programmes. We also work with affiliate networks including Impact and direct brand programmes. The badge on a product card tells you when there is a discount code attached, and the code is yours whether or not you use our link.
